I joined Cann Bridge School as Deputy Headteacher in April 2024 before going part-time in January 2026 becoming the schools Director of Teaching, Learning & Assessment. I have high aspirations for all our learners and am committed to ensure they lead healthy and fulfilled lives, actively contributing to society.

Previously I was the Deputy Heateacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead at an outstanding primary school in Devon. In this role I led the development of the maths curriculum and foundation subjects, humanities and science. I have taught across all ages of the primary school from EYFS to year six. I am passionate about ensuring that learning continues through continuous provision as well as more formal learning.

Ensuring children and young people are safe and secure is our priority and in my previous role, I developed relationships with parents, carers, children and other agencies to support this. I am committed to forging relationships with the community of Cann Bridge to build these strong foundations.

I feel privileged to be part of Cann Bridge School where the community is aspirational, learner focused, collaborative and progressive
