Jen Ferrett
I originally became a teacher at the school when we were Downham School in Plymstock. I have been fortunate to have had a wide range of experiences during my employment. I have taught across all age groups, from EYFS all the way through to Post-16. I taught one of the satellite classes in a local mainstream primary school.
As part of the leadership team at Cann Bridge, I am proud to work alongside our committed teaching team and Governors to ensure we are striving to meet the visons and values of our school.
I currently teach in Post Bridge College and am privileged to support young people on their journey into adulthood. As part of this role, I establish and maintain links with post-16 and post-18 providers in the local area to support transitions during this important time as our leavers move on.
I work hard in my job, but am fortunate to enjoy what I do. I get enormous satisfaction from building positive relationships with our young people and their families, even after they have left the school.
