In 2023, in response to the school's growing pupil population and expansion, a successful programme of fundraising and generous donations enabled the creation of a second sensory room, known as the Sensory Den.

Designed specifically for pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, the Sensory Den is located within the lower school and provides a welcoming, developmentally appropriate environment for younger learners. The space is timetabled throughout the week for individuals and small groups, supporting sensory regulation, engagement, and the development of interaction and communication skills.

The Sensory Den offers a range of sensory experiences tailored to meet individual needs, helping pupils to feel calm, focused, and ready to learn. It has become an important resource within the school, enhancing our ability to provide personalised support for our youngest learners.
